A new opening Airport Lounge at San Francisco Airport (SFO)

Sodexo Live's Airport Lounge Segment is seeking a hands-on Executive Chef for a new opening Airport Lounge at San Francisco International Airport (SFO). As the Executive Chef, you will have the responsibility to provide culinary leadership within a medium-sized, all-a-la-carte, unit. The Executive Chef works directly with internal and external clients managing the culinary process from beginning through execution.

The successful candidate has the following competencies:
  • Food handling and safety, implements and coordinates all culinary function
  • Menu development and planning
  • Team building directs & trains cooks & utility workers
  • Delegating, directing, and monitoring performance
  • Customer and client satisfaction
  • Financial management to include food cost & labor management
  • Planning, time management, and managing priorities
  • Driver of diversity, equity, inclusion & belonging
  • Analysis and decision making, computer Skills, drive and dependability, communication

While the budgeted range for the position is posted, Sodexo salary offers are based on a candidate's specific criteria, like experience, skills, education, and training.

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Basic Management Experience - 2 years
  • Basic Functional Experience - 2 years of work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
