House of Rental is a full service Party, Event, Tool & Equipment Rental company in Skokie. We were established in 1969 serving Chicago and the northern suburbs. We are looking for Delivery Drivers for our events team who will provide friendly, professional delivery service to our customers. Your delivery areas will include: Skokie, Wilmette, Winnetka, Evanston, Morton Grove, Glenview, Northbrook, Chicago, Highland Park, Mount Prospect, Arlington Heights, Park Ridge and other suburban areas.

Requirements

● Load/unload Tents, Tables, Chairs & other Party and Event rental equipment along with a crew of 2-5 people. The work is physically demanding.

● Assist with the installation of Tents, Dance Floors, Tables, Chairs and other rental equipment.

● Safely drive House of Rental's Box Truck to and from install sites. Provide friendly, professional delivery service to our customer's homes and businesses.

● Assist with warehouse duties including but not limited to organizing, cleaning and maintaining rental equipment.

● Able to process cash, check and credit card payments.

● Knowledge of Construction Equipment and Party Rental Equipment is a plus.

● minimum TWO (2) years BOX TRUCK driving experience All applicants must:

● present valid identification, employment eligibility and resume of work history

● participate in employee testing

● Required education: High school or equivalent

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
