Job description
Duties include but are not limited to:
Plan activities and holiday functions around residents' diversity and spirituality.

Distribute monthly calendar of planned events.

Books rooms and update internal Event Calendar as needed.

Coordinate set up with Front Desk Supervisor and other involved parties.

Responsible for weekly newsletter advertising upcoming events and other need to know information.

Survey and interview residents to learn their interests, talents, and satisfaction with the communities' programs and activities.

Develop relationships with residents to encourage participation.

Display weekly floor signs showing the week's events, weekly table signs advertising upcoming events.

Decorating for events and various seasons/holidays Maintaining well-kept decorations and purchasing more as needed.

Assist Resident Services Director maintaining 3 budgets: Resident Entertainment, Holiday Lighting, and Flowers and Decorations

Requirements:
As the Events Coordinator you will create and plan activities, outings, and events in various settings. Oversee creating programs, events, and the implementation of activities.

Skilled in the Microsoft suite. Has a working knowledge of a skill or discipline that requires basic analytic ability. Has an overall understanding of the work environment and process. Has working knowledge of the organization. Uses independent judgement to make decisions based on precedents and established guidelines. Solves problems using standard procedures and precedents. Knows when to refer issues to Supervisor and knows when to handle them personally.
