Background

The Financial Services Information Sharing and Analysis Center (FS-ISAC), is a 501(c)(6), not-for-profit entity, the only global cyber intelligence sharing community solely focused on financial services. Serving financial institutions and in turn their customers, the organization leverages its intelligence platform, resiliency resources and a trusted peer-to-peer network of experts to anticipate, mitigate and respond to cyber threats. FS-ISAC is headquartered in the US, with offices in Singapore, The Hague, and London. FS-ISAC hosts several physical multi-day Summits globally, ranging in size from 400 - 1600 attendees; and other events as needed.


Position Summary

The Event Associate position will report directly to the Senior Manager of Events and will manage key aspects and overall coordination of FS-ISAC events. The position will support and assist the events team. This position requires an individual who can work independently but is team-oriented, organized, and can multi-task while paying strong attention to detail. This position requires the ability to work at an FS-ISAC office or work from home including a home office setup not in a public setting, with reliable internet access. The position requires the ability to work occasional nights/weekends to set up events. Travel is required to attend in-person events and occasional team meetings.


Essential Functions

  • Support the team on all aspects of events. This includes budget, communications, agenda, production, resource management, metrics, and sponsorship coordination.
  • Create, review, and edit event materials.
  • Coordinate all events’ logistics Including on-site support.
  • Coordinate closely across multiple teams internally and externally.
  • Maintain process documentation and automation.
  • Perform basic data analysis, reporting, and metrics collection.
  • Provide administrative support for all event sponsors, speakers, members, and internal teams.

  • Ability to maintain competent and calm composure in stressful situations.
  • Solid administrative experience with calendar scheduling, Outlook, or Salesforce invitations, RSVPs tracking, and follow-up as needed.

Education and Experience

  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience)
  • 0-2 years of experience in a professional work environment
  • Experience in Office 365, and Salesforce is a plus

This position can be remote, or based out of our Reston Headquarters with a hybrid office/work-from-home schedule.
