Who you are: the Event Sales Coordinator will work closely with the Event Sales Managers to ensure efficient and seamless planning and execution of off-premises catered events, driving the cycle of Enlightened Hospitality. Daily responsibilities are both administrative and operational, and the Event Sales Coordinator is expected to work independently and collaboratively while embodying our Beliefs.

What you’ll do:

  • Create proposals, estimates, contracts, and invoices using CaterXpert.
  • Arrange for and attend site visits, walk-throughs and tastings as needed, and capture detailed notes.
  • Facilitate internal communications relating to the production of events, while meeting weekly deadlines for the completion of food, beverage, warehouse, and rental equipment orders.
  • Create rental equipment orders and coordinate billing with rental companies and clients.
  • Engage with potential and existing clients through phone and email correspondence, and ensure all necessary information is obtained.
  • Create, format, and print event menus, signage, paperwork, and other printed materials while managing internal display inventory
  • Assist with financial reconciliation and reporting, internally and externally

What we need from you:

  • 2+ years of hospitality, catering, or events experience
  • Strong computer skills/Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to assess the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of assigned work
  • Problem-solving skills with initiative and follow through
