HOURS ARE 3PM - 6PM MON TO SATURDAY - FLEXIBLE HOURS DAYS AVAILABLE

MUST HAVE OWN CAR THAT YOU CAN DRIVE FOR DELIVERIES

We are a proud independent store that stocks Hallmark product. We want to become the first and only store customers need for our product offering. We understand that we all have many different types of relationships, and even in todays modern world, how an old tradition of sending a card is still more significant and heartfelt than any text or email. We want to keep the spirit of thoughtfulness and celebrating all life's occasions alive!

We recently have expanded our business to include flowers and have acquired the Interflora license. Therefore we require a driver to delivery our stunning bouquets.

Job role:

Hallmark is seeking a Delivery Driver Assistant who is reliable, friendly, with superior customer service and communication skills, IT literate and passion for flowers is a must. You will be expected to ensure that you deliver in an efficient, friendly and attentive manner. This role is extremely varied, you may be asked to help instore also. It can be physically demanding, requiring a practical and confident person. The Celebration Assistant will also be expected to work overtime when necessary to fulfill customer orders and dispatches.

We expect most deliveries to be completed between 3PM -6PMMon - Sat, however we do require some flexibility esp during peak seasons, there may be occasionally Sunday deliveries also.

Key responsibilities and expectations will include:

• Delivering our products to our customers
• Route planning
• Extended working hours over peak trading times (Christmas, Valentine's & Mother's Day)
• Cover other days of the week, for sickness and holidays, where necessary
• Loading and checking delivery runs
• Being flexible, a team player, with a positive can do attitude
• Entering delivery information onto the website or app
• Picking, packing, labelling orders accurately and complete all necessary paperwork ready for despatch
• Support other departments/deal with ad hoc tasks when needed

Desirable skills, but not necessary to have:

• Experienced in working in the greeting card, gifts, stationery and/or party supplies industries
• Sales experience, particularly B2B sales
• Retail experience
• Driving experience particularly in flowers or balloons

• Excellent time keeping and organisational skills
• Smart phone & computer literate
• Proactive positive attitude
• Willing to use initiative, be efficient and have accountability for businesses goals
• Customer and sales focused
• Good communicator, both written and verbal
• Flexible team player, with ability to work alone
• Previous delivery / driving experience
• Ability to work deadlines

• Polite, well mannered and professional

• Full UK drivers licence with no points
