Job Description—Estimator

We are a full-service restoration company that handles water, fire, mold, and biohazard clean up along with the associated rebuild and construction. We bring the homeowner or place of business back to pre-loss condition or we can upgrade. We also do custom home remodels and new construction.

We are seeking an Estimator that is self-motivated, outgoing, caring, customer service oriented with an attention to detail. This person must be willing to learn, grow, and be a team player. Our work environment is fast paced and constantly changing. Estimator will be responsible for preparing estimates and supplements from 3D scans, photos, and scopes. Your primary responsibilities are to create estimates in a timely manner, collaborate with homeowners, adjusters, and sub-contractors to get estimate and invoice approval.

Qualifications:

• Customer service
• Computer, and technology skills such as: iPhone, iPad, and Microsoft Office software
• 1 year experience in the restoration industry
• Ability to learn and operate operating systems such as Xactimate, Docusketch, and Encircle
• Able to communicate effectively over the phone, electronically and face-to-face
• Able to work well with team members as well as independently
• Flexibility to be included on our emergency on-call schedule
• Able to work in hazardous environments safely
• Maintain a level of confidentiality
• Experience with Xactimate required

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stay in a stationary position for long periods of time
• Comfortable getting on a roof (if needed)
• Comfortable going in crawl spaces (if needed)
• Comfortable being around hazardous environments (if needed)
