JOB SUMMARY


Marki Microwave Equipment Engineering Technicians are responsible for supporting production and development staff with operation and maintenance of various technical equipment.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Perform set up, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all production equipment including: Ovens, Wire Bonders, Automated handlers, Automation Equipment, Laser marking machines, paint booths, microscopes, handling of chemicals, etc.
  • Track & perform preventative maintenance & calibration schedules for production, reliability, & test equipment. Train technicians on how to perform maintenance.
  • Research & order equipment, tooling, maintenance supplies, replacement parts, production material, & tooling.
  • Coordinate with repairmen and vendors for scheduling maintenance, repairs, and calibration.
  • Collaborate cross functionally to schedule operator training and execute training in a timely manner
  • Cross train fellow Technicians on new equipment operation, programming, & troubleshooting
  • Create procedures, troubleshooting guides, and specs for new processes and machinery.
  • Use 2D and/or 3D CAD to reference drawings/dimensions and create drawings
  • Program automated equipment for new product lines
  • Assist Engineering staff in production and prototyping of products including running experiments, testing, tuning, proto build, reflow, etc.
  • Assist in facilities’ maintenance to help ensure upkeep of capital equipment for production and R&D
  • Perform RF electrical tests under the guidance of engineering staff
  • Work with small hand tools, tweezers, and fixtures
  • Work on advanced automated equipment with basic troubleshooting skills.
  • Use Microsoft office to track PM schedules, create presentations, document processes, etc.
  • Track and execute multiple on-going projects on-time.
  • Communicate with cross-functional team members and management via written or verbal formats
  • Other duties as assigned.


REQUIREMENTS


  • High School Diploma or GED required, some college is preferred
  • 5-10 years’ experience as a Maintenance / Equipment Technician or applicable experience
  • 1-2 years’ experience in RF or electronics industry preferred


TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

  • Can maintain all basic equipment and learning advanced automation equipment maintenance
  • Experience with performing preventative maintenance on automated equipment
  • Experience with soldering irons or soldering process
  • Can perform basic electrical testing with a multi-meter
  • Experience with CAD/AutoCAD, Inventor/Solidworks, MS Office, ability to design basic mechanical fixtures/designs using AutoCAD
  • Experience with comprehension of specifications, drawings and written instructions
  • Ability to train operators and fellow technicians
  • Can evaluate new equipment/tooling upon request
  • Excellent analytical problem-solving skills
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment with minimal guidance
