Job description
The Manager of Environmental Services is a working-manager position responsible for the managerial leadership necessary to assure the provision of quality operation in the hospital as well as all aspects of day-to-day operations of the department. Through collaboration with all members of the health-care team, strives to create a positive patient centered culture; and a culture where the staff is encouraged to grow in knowledge and skills to further the quality care provided at WMRMC. Under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer exercises considerable judgement in applying professional knowledge in implementing the established standards of ensuring the facility is clean and sanitized. This position has overall supervisory responsibility for Environmental Services Attendants as directed by the CEO. This position is safety sensitive and subject to WMRMC’s Drug & Alcohol Policy.
Required Experience:
Five (5) years experience in Environmental Services
Three (3) years of practical experience in a relevant population setting
Two (2) years supervisor or manager experience
Required Licensees & Certifications:
CPR Certification within 30 days of hire
Preferred Education and Experience:
Some College Course Work or Technical Schooling
