Metalcraft Mining Equipment is searching for:

Title: Entry Level Cost Accountant

We are seeking an Entry Level Cost Accountant to join our team. The primary responsibility of the Cost Accountant will to assist in the analysis and reporting of production costs for our organization. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles and be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional team to achieve the company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the analysis and reporting of production costs
• Perform cost accounting functions including cost allocation, inventory valuation
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operations and reduce cost
• Assist in the development and implementation of cost accounting policies and procedures
• Provide support for special projects as needed

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field (Bachelors preferred)
• 0-2 years of experience in cost accounting or related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

• GAAP: 1 year (Preferred)

• CPA (Preferred)
