SouthEnd Exteriors, a Division of US LBM, Is Seeking a Pricing Analyst for Our Charlotte, NC Location.

Wage: $40,000 - $50,000 Per Year

Schedule: Mon - Fri 8am - 5pm

How you will spend your day as Pricing Analyst:

• Reviews purchase requisitions for proper part numbers, pricing, and approval authorizations.
• Researches and evaluates products and suppliers.
• Performs value analysis on costs and supplier quotes.
• Reviews expenditures, identifies opportunities and drives company cost reduction targets.
• Communicates pertinent information to both internal customers and suppliers to keep apprised and to prevent issues.
• Supervise the creation and maintenance of all materials and labor pricing necessary for the most accurate and profitable job.
• Monitors supplier performance.
• Analyze and review all material PO’s due to pricing discrepancies or estimating concerns.
• Create and maintain changes to material and labor pricing in Sage/Internal Purchasing Software.
• Assist in projects and correspondence essential to completing the functions of the Purchasing Department, as necessary.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with all internal and external customers and trade partners by assisting in the resolution of problems in a timely and effective manner.
• Attend and participate in scheduled meetings pertaining to the Sales, Purchasing and the Construction Department.
• Develop and/or maintain a thorough understanding of the overall home construction process to deliver exceptional service to both internal and external customers.

Pricing Analyst Requirements:

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as rebate programs, pricing requisitions, and various report analysis.
• Ability to write routine purchasing reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of: Internet Software; Spreadsheet Software (Excel); Order Processing Systems; and Word Processing Software (Word), and Outlook, Sage, and other purchasing/estimating systems as well as company data systems.
