Responsibilities:

Kings Dominion is a 400-acre park that includes a 20-acre waterpark, Soak City.

As a member of our team you will:
- Make our guests happy by delivering amazing experiences and helping them create lifelong memories.
- Interact with different people of all ages and backgrounds.
- Gain skills, knowledge, and experience that will benefit your future.
- Works closely with Costume Area Supervisor to ensure the quality of all themed entertainment and stage productions.
- Assists in all costume related aspects of haunted attractions and productions including design, construction and maintenance.
- Prepares costumes for shows (stage shows, street performers, musicians, characters, etc.) and maintains costume appearance and continuity.Assists show participants with fast dress changes during the show
- Cleans performer’s costumes after the show, prepare for laundry, and use washer and dryer as directed
- Informs supervisor of any operational or technical problems
- Follows the directives and procedures of the costume shop
- Maintains the inventory supply of the costume shop
- Functions as a liaison with the production staff
- Fits and alters costumes as needed, utilizing sewing machine as needed and demonstrating basic sewing ability (seams, hems, buttons, etc.)
- Issues and collects costumes
- Provides guest service according to Cedar Fair standards when serving the guest or working with subordinates, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions, and giving directions
Qualifications:
You!- Individuals with a passion and excitement about Kings Dominion!
- Resume with listed experience and education in relation to working as a costumer
- Ability to demonstrate sewing ability (by both hand and machine).
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Experience in theatre or in the themed entertainment industry preferred.
