Analog Devices Inc. is seeking an intelligent and versatile Senior Engineer, Design Verification Engineering to join our Wireless Platform Group. You will join a team of digital, analog and mixed signal CMOS designers, algorithm and software developers implementing state of the art RF transceiver chips. As a Senior Design Verification Engineer, you will play a key role in defining and driving the verification strategy, planning, and execution. You will be part of a highly skilled team that develops verification environments and re-usable components using System Verilog and UVM. At the block level and system level, you be creating verification plans, developing and debugging tests, and using a metric driven methodology to evaluate results, including the monitoring of regressions, assertion coverage, code coverage and functional coverage. In addition, you will be investigating and driving the adoption of evolving new verification methodologies to handle the complex needs of these projects.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Develop System Verilog UVM simulation environments, infrastructure, and verification plans at both full chip, standalone block level and SystemC model validation
  • Development of directed and random test suites across chip hierarchies
  • Creating, simulating and debugging constrained random and/or directed cases written to verify complex signal processing designs based on the verification plans
  • Writing functional coverage, assertions and other metrics to track progress and completeness of verification effort
  • Planning and conducting verification reviews and Measure and analyze coverage results, and take necessary actions to fill the coverage gaps
  • Developing, managing, and providing technical direction to the team on project verification strategies, planning, resourcing, tracking, mentoring, and results analysis, to ensure the product is delivered on schedule
  • Working closely with other engineers and managers in identifying and addressing issues, and developing solutions to achieve scheduled commitments
  • Lead a team of engineers for block level, subsystem level or system level verification efforts, provide project plans, update, and track the same
  • Defining, monitoring, and communicating project status including risk identification, mitigation, and prioritization
  • Understanding and unifying different verification methodologies, and constantly seeking to improve productivity
  • Working with global verification teams identifying and integrating both internal and 3rd party IP & VIP

Requirements:
  • Proven experience leading verification projects, including developing complex environments, verification plans, simulation, coverage analysis, post-silicon bring-up and ATE support
  • Experience in specifying, developing, and leveraging advanced verification capabilities including System Verilog, UVM, coverage, formal verification, coverage and coverage analysis
  • Experience with System and Digital modeling languages (MATLAB, SystemC)
  • Prior experience with Ethernet protocol, AMBA protocol suite (AHB, AXI, APB) is valuable
  • Prior experience working with multi-site teams and 3rd party VIP will be valuable
  • Overall exposure to the design/verification tape-out cycle is desirable
  • BS/MS Computer Engineering or BS/MS Electrical Engineering.
