ENDEAVOR FEED TRUCK DELIVERY DRIVER

Status: Full Time/non-exempt

Reports to: Location Manager

Summary: Endeavor Ag and Energy has an opportunity for a Feed Truck Delivery Driver at our Holland Feed Mill. Hours of work 4pm – 2am, Monday - Friday. You will work extensively with cooperative customers in insuring they are provided the highest level of service. You must be customer focused, be hard working, and have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. You must also be experienced and comfortable with using a computer and have the ability to learn the system we use to make feed!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Deliver bulk feed to the correct location, load, and unload trucks in a safe and efficient manner
• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers as needed. Responsible for reporting customer questions and concerns to supervisor or sales personnel. Effectively communicate with mangers, co-workers, and customers
• Responsible for equipment maintenance and sanitation. Necessary repair and maintenance needs should be reported to supervisor for scheduling the appropriate work. Washing and disinfecting of equipment is to be done regularly according to schedules and bio-security protocols. Trucks are to be kept looking clean and well maintained both inside and out
• Responsible for performing proper flushing and sequencing of feeds according to Quality Bulletins and GMP’s. Maintain accurate production and FDA records
• Responsible for assuring proper weights are recorded, that customer bills are produced and provided to customers in a timely manner for all feed shipped. Proper feed labels must be provided to customers with all feed deliveries
• Responsible for proper inspection and documentation. All required driving and inspection logs are to be completed daily and kept up to date. Visual and safety inspections are to be performed at the start of the shift and appropriately recorded
• Responsible for final inspection of feed shipments. Feed is to be inspected and sampled at the time of loading
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and adherence to safety requirements. Assist management with production scheduling, inventory planning, and inventory control. Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Other duties or responsibilities may be assigned by the shift supervisor to assist other production areas. Monitor and maintain quality of inventory

Education and/or Experience

High School diploma or GED; preferred experience in agriculture, grain handling, livestock feed and operating milling.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Mathematical Skills and Reasoning

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Work Environment
