Work Activity Center provides opportunities for employment, independent living, and social interaction to adults with developmental disabilities. We are seeking an experienced Employment Program Supervisor that would supervise and coordinate activities of staff and volunteers and individuals receiving services.
Starting salary: $21.63-24.53 per hour, DOE.
The standard schedule for this position entails a 40-hour workweek, typically Monday to Friday, starting at 8:30 am and concluding at 5:00 pm.
However, the role requires flexibility to work beyond these hours, including weekends and holidays, as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Completion of 2 years of higher education and currently enrolled in a four-year college or university, OR Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred.
  • One to two years related experience and/or training.
  • Must be at least 21 years old to operate center vehicles.
  • Must maintain a valid Utah driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Reliable Transportation, with current Automobile Insurance.
  • Computer competency in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, sit, and lift 50 pounds or ¼ of his/her body weight.
Skills:
  • ACRE certification preferred or willing to become ACRE certified.
Responsibilities:
  • Directly supervises up to 10 employees.
  • Interviewing prospective employees.
  • Assigns caseloads, schedudles and related duties and coordinates activities of staff.
  • Communicates individual issues with parent/guardian, residential staff, and support coordinator/counselors.
  • Reviews and evaluates performance of staff members and conducts employee evaluations.
  • Ensures that all documentation related to individuals and their program is current and consistent with policies and procedures.
  • Attends all intake and annual meetings for individuals and serves as an advocate for individuals.
  • Participates in developing and implementing agency administrative policy.
  • Ensures proper supervision of participants at all timesReviews all written documents related to individuals to ensure that they are completed to standards.
  • Maintains and prepare financial billing records.
  • Prepares and presents necessary information for review by the Human Rights Committee.
  • Job coaches clients on various job sites, teaching and training them the job they are employed to perform.
  • Trains new employees and provides in-service training for experienced workers.
  • Prepare and participate in weekly meetings with internal stakeholders.
