The primary purpose of this position is to facilitate company-wide talent, career development and employee engagement efforts that drive employee satisfaction and retention. This is accomplished by assessing, designing, cultivating, and implementing leadership development and employee engagement programs that specifically support career development, team effectiveness, and talent development. The Employee Experience Specialist is responsible for building/teaching curriculum, and curating resources related to leadership development, coaching and performing other duties as requested.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Design and facilitate professional development workshops and programs
  • Assist in Diversity & Inclusion strategies
  • Design and implement employee engagement strategies
  • Coordinate annual employee engagement survey and deliver results
  • Assist with coordination of annual Employee Development Day
  • Develop procedures to train individual contributors and leaders on course curriculum and learning objectives.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain measurement and evaluation strategies to assess efficiency and effectiveness of development programs.
  • Track and communicate progress toward goals and manage related reporting.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, including leaders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent professional experience.
  • 1-2 years’ experience in training, coaching, and developing talent.
  • Extensive knowledge of all Credit Union departments, job functions, policies, and procedures is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of individual contributors and leaders.
  • Broad knowledge of employee engagement strategies.
  • Experience facilitating professional development workshops.
  • Experience creating employee development curriculum.
  • Knowledge of virtual training platforms.
  • Ability to blend strategic and critical thinking into practical execution.
  • Ability to simultaneously and effectively manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a diverse work group.
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills; demonstrates effective listening and has the ability to ask probing questions.
  • Ability and proficiency to operate independently.
  • Ability to maintain employee confidentiality at all times.
  • Proactive and self-motivated.
  • Goal and result oriented.
  • A drive for continuous improvement.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour

  • 8 hour shift
