The Employee Experience Manager is an internally focused role that will oversee and drive exceptional team member experiences that connect our people to our mission and values. Through thoughtfully designed company events and communications, engagement and recognition programs, and celebration events this role translates the values and standards of our culture into meaningful and fun moments for our all people working at Stoneridge Software.

It is essential to have someone in this role who can understand our team members’ perspectives, stay connected with them, and help them feel like part of the company’s success. This role supports our company values, including ‘Enjoy our Work,’ and our ‘Grow the Best Team’ strategic goal through the design, execution, and support of recognition programs, company-wide and site-specific, team member engagement programs, and employee feedback systems. The incumbent in this role will need to easily move between being strategic and tactical, as the role requires both.

A Day in the Life

  • Designs, develops, and executes on project plans for team member events such as quarterly company meetings (in-person/hybrid/remote), and collaborates with managers for team specific events. The incumbent will own these events from start to finish and work in collaboration with the leadership team and marketing
  • Develops and manages feedback systems, such as team member surveys (culture/pulse/after-event/general), and compiles and interprets the data to prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations for opportunities to improve engagement
  • Recommends, designs, develops, and evaluates team member engagement and recognition programs
  • Manages team member centered communications, including the weekly people newsletter and announcements, and other communications designed to support the change management process with the introduction of new team member centered programs
  • Manages others on the people team whose focus is site specific team member experience
  • Partners closely with others on the People Team, such as Business Partners, Learning & Development, and Talent Acquisition, and others across the organization to successfully understand team member needs and to integrate programs into the organization
  • Manages the Minneapolis office through supply orders, key FOB distribution and tracking, checking and distributing mail, and sending reminders to the local office community
  • Supports administration of diversity and inclusion programming that provides a place of belonging for all
  • Provides other people team support as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4+ years of professional experience in employee experience, event, or employment brand management
  • Based in the Minneapolis, MN area working in office 3-4 days a week with travel on occasion to other locations
  • Experience with internal engagement and recognition programs
  • High energy and enthusiasm
  • Ability and comfort in working both strategically and tactically
  • Ability to write clearly and concisely for a variety of audiences
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both spoken and written English
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Strong attention to detail to produce quality results in a high-growth, deadline-driven environment
  • Adaptable and able to scale programs for a hybrid workforce
  • Experience working with sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • Passionate about service and able to work both independently and collaborate cross-departmentally
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, HR systems, and feedback systems
  • Travel Required: 10-15%. Travel to other Stoneridge Software offices or offsite events may be required.
