Forward Service Corporation (FSC), a passionate, not-for-profit firm that strives to provide exceptional customer service in employment and training related services to local, state and federally funded program participants. Our non-profit firm is seeking one full-time Emergency Assistance Specialist to help those we serve achieve their dreams. The home office is located in Janesville, Madison or Oshkosh, WI.
The Emergency Assistance Specialist provides emergency assistance appointment with customers in all FSC counties via video teleconferencing system. This position is responsible for providing a high level of customer service, while ensuring all policies and procedures are being followed. The Emergency Assistance Specialist is the solid structure that our customers need during some of life’s challenges.
PRIMARY DUTIES INCLUDE
- Make appropriate eligibility and payment determinations based on Emergency Assistance program requirements.
- Take incoming calls from customers and schedule appointments using Outlook and Office 365/ Sharepoint.
- Operate in a high-volume call center environment.
- Complete self-monitoring of Emergency Assistance case files and related performance reports.
- Timely scanning of all applications into the Electronic Case File database
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Associate degree and two (2) plus years work-related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- FSC offers a very competitive wage for this full-time, non-exempt position with a minimum starting rate of $21.71/hour with additional compensation based on direct experience beyond the minimum requirements.
- Example: Meet only minimum requirements start at $21.71/hour; with 3 additional years of direct experience start at $22.36/hour; 5 additional years of direct experience $23.04/hour, etc.
