Position Summary:
The Emergency Department Technician performs routine duties within the limits of documented training for the emergency department patient. The care is delivered under the supervision and direction of a Registered Nurse.
Minimum Requirements:
Prior medical experience preferred
High School Diploma or GED
Current BLS
Current Washington State Licensure as either:
- NA-R (Will be required to obtain MA-P licensure within 180 days, which will be paid for by MHS. Highly encouraged to obtain NA-C licensure.)
- EMT (Will be required to obtain NA-R, NA-C, or MA-C within 90 days of hire. Will also be required to obtain MA-P certification within 180 days, which will be paid for by MHS.)
- NA-C (Will be required to obtain MA-P licensure within 180 days, which will be paid for by MHS.)
- MA-P (Will be required to obtain NA-R, NA-C, or MA-C within 90 days of hire.)
- MA-C (No additional licensure will be required.)
Compensation Range:
AA - Min: $17.19-Max: $88.00
