Autel US, headquartered in Port Washington, New York, is Autel's North American distribution. marketing and customer service division. Autel develops, manufactures, and markets diagnostic tools, equipment, and accessories in the automotive aftermarket. We are currently seeking a full-time Electronics Repair Technician to join our Return-Goods Authorization(RGA)/Warranty department of dedicated repair technicians.

The main responsibility of this employee would be to perform basic electronics repairs on customer's automotive diagnostics scan tools, video scopes, and tablets.

The ideal candidate will be:

• Testing and repairing Autel products to be returned to customers in a timely manner
• Repairs could include soldering/desoldering, internal/external part replacement or software flash
• Handling of Li-Ion batteries
• Updating tool software/firmware
• Updating reports and/or spreadsheets

Requirements

• Have at least two years of experience diagnosing and repairing small electronics such as cell phones/tablets or personal computers, or other such electronic devices.
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Have a professional and committed demeanor
• Have logical troubleshooting ability and analytical skills
• Be willing to learn
• Have experience using Windows-PC and working with basic spreadsheet and word processing applications
• Experience working with Android is a plus
• Knowledge with SAP a plus
• Have a reliable means of transportation
• Be legally permitted to work in the United States
• Be able to handle fast paced environment and be a quick learner
• Available to work Full-time

-Office Hours: 9 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday.Autel offers a competitive salary that commensurate with experience. This will be discussed during the interview.
