Job Summary:

The Electronic Banking Manager is responsible for managing the Electronic Banking team, and supporting consumer, business online, and mobile banking products. This role will work directly with branch personnel to support sales functions, troubleshoot problems, resolve inquires and handle setup and maintenance requests. This role acts as an expert on the bank’s customer facing solutions including mobile and remote deposit services, online bill pay, positive pay services, and ACH and wire origination. The ideal candidate for this role is able to adapt to change, is proficient with technology, and is able to communicate with both customers and bank staff in varying levels of the organization in a positive, collaborative way.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Acts as manager and team lead for the Electronic Banking team.
  • Identifies opportunities for product enhancements, and takes ownership of projects to manage implementation.
  • Develops and maintains processes and procedures to ensure up-to-date practices are maintained.
  • Input and maintain online banking profiles within established guidelines.
  • Perform monitoring and cleanup tasks as assigned.
  • Effectively manage risks associated with online banking products on behalf of the bank.
  • Utilize resources, training, and acquired knowledge to make complex decisions without a clear, easy solution.
  • Act as an advisor and subject matter expert on a number of subjects, ensuring branch staff follow proper documentation guidelines.
  • Introduce new products and services as appropriate
  • Willingness to go the “extra mile” to build trust with internal and external stakeholders, building strong relationships, customer loyalty, and satisfaction.
  • Resolve customer issues and education on relevant information and best practices.
  • Manage and motivate a team of employees to achieve their individual and team goals.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance and achieve business goals.
  • Foster collaboration and teamwork among employees and across departments.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or greater required.
  • Minimum 3 years banking experience required, previous supervisory experience a plus.
  • Experience working with computers and various systems, including full Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Attention to detail.
