Eaton’s AER FED Fluid Electrical Distribution is currently seeking a Electro-Mechanical Technician. This position is based at our Bethel, CT facility.


Core hours for this position are Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm.


The pay range for this position is $19-$22 per hour.

What you’ll do:


  • Assemble, test, calibrate and thermally compensate an electro/mechanical device
  • Perform final acceptance testing (ATP) on electro/mechanical pressure sensors by loading and unloading test stands, and recording values
  • Maintain quality records
  • Follow customer and supplier requirements (blueprints, work instructions, etc)
  • Assemble, setup and maintain tooling used to build product

Qualifications:


Basic Qualifications:


  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
  • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 60-mile radius of Bethel, CT will be considered. (Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. )


Skills:


  • Basic computer skills (Excel, Word)
  • Ability to work using a microscope
  • Follow written instructions, visual aids, sketches and blueprints
  • Basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
