PCL's Bakersfield District is currently seeking to hire Experienced Oregon State Licensed Electricians for an upcoming project in Boardman OR. The project will start around the 1st of May and will last 5 months. The work schedule is 6 days a week, 10-hour work shifts with $100 per day per diem for those that live further than 60 miles from the project. As an Electrician for our Boardman OR, project working with the Bakersfield CA District you will contribute to our team by:

• Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources
• Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems
• Using relevant information and good judgment to comply with laws, regulations, or standards
• Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person
• Developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work
• Reports to immediate Supervisor while coordinating with other trades for the purpose of completing projects safely and efficiently

What you will bring to the role:

• Oregon State Electrical License
• Ability to plan layouts of construction, installation, or repairs
• Ability to install electrical components, equipment, or systems
• Knowledge of testing electrical equipment or systems to ensure proper functioning
• Ability to inspect electrical or electronic systems for defects
• Able to repair electrical equipment
• Ability to thread wire or cable through ducts or conduits
• Knowledge of and ability to use a variety of tools or equipment, such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment, such as oscilloscopes, ammeters, or test lamps
