SUMMARY

Here at M&M Carnot our vision is to provide sustainable, natural refrigeration solutions, systems, and controls that are innovative and safe for people and the planet. Provides electrical wiring of fabricated refrigeration equipment from various components/sensors/actuators/etc. back to the Master Control Panel (MCP). Provides support as part of housekeeping team to ensure facility is properly upkept. Other duties as assigned by Management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Electrical wiring of fabricated refrigeration equipment from the various components/sensors/actuators/etc. installed back to the Master Control Panel (MCP).
  • Using wiring diagram/electrical schematic, terminate all wiring in the MCP.
  • Wire all starters, variable frequency drives (VFD), micro-panels, etc. as defined on the wiring schematic.
  • Test for continuity of wired units.
  • Perform electrical ‘ring-out’ of equipment after completion of wiring.
  • Provides general labor support, or any assigned tasks as determined by Management, as needed for production of equipment.
  • Accurately tracks time in Timecard system (ADP).
  • Tracks labor and materials for each project and record as needed for updating of work order completion and inventory tracking
  • Recommends methods for improving efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities
  • Strictly adhere to all Safety and Compliance rules.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 3 years general electrical wiring and electrical troubleshooting and/or refrigeration knowledge desired.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business information. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers, and the production staff.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to assist in creating and executing continuous improvement initiatives.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; sit; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is generally in an production environment and could be exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
