Electrical Estimator – Electrical Work & eV Infrastructure Projects

The Electrical Estimator will be responsible for providing electrical detailed take offs for electrical construction and eV Infrastructure Projects. In addition, this individual will be responsible for reviewing and commenting on electrical design drawings for Design/Build Projects. This position is responsible for accomplishing all facets of electrical estimating for the company. In addition, this position will require collaboration across the organization to assist in shaping and executing our Company Business Plan.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for utilizing electrical estimating/engineering expertise to prepare detailed take offs for comprehensive estimates along with qualifying subcontractor quotes.
• Electrical estimator must be very familiar with design of eV infrastructure including electrical and physical installation requirements, eV Charger and electrical switchgear selection, transformer and conduit sizing, battery systems, etc.
• As the Subject Matter Expert for Electric Work and eV Infrastructure, this individual will work in LVI’s Estimating Department along with LVI’s Sales, Procurement, Permitting & Construction Teams.
• Develop and maintain relationships with electrical suppliers and electrical design partners.
• Work closely with electrical design partners to prepare pricing and expertise in preparing electrical and eV Designs.
• Support strategies to scale charging station roll-out and sustain consistent growth in deployment.
• Proactively develop estimating & engineering processes and procedures to build out Electric Vehicle Charging Business including ability to strategically future proof customer locations.

Qualifications:

Years of Relevant Work Experience: 2+ Years

Licenses/Certifications: Licensed Electrician or Professional Engineer

• Electrical Estimating and Engineering with advanced knowledge of one line diagrams, schematics, CAD drawings, expertise and experience in switchgear and utility transformer design and selection.
• Self-motivated, ability to work independently in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
