Under the general direction of the Director of Neuroscience, performs and records a variety of neuro diagnostic procedures to include EEG (routine and long-term monitoring set up) electrocerebral silence, and EMG assist. May be required to be On Call after hours.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform clinical Electroencephalograms, Electronystagmogram, and Evoked Potential recordings
  • Electroencephalograms may be performed at the patient’s bedside, during surgery or in the Neurology Lab
  • Evoked Potential recordings may be done at the bedside or in the Neurology Lab.
  • The Neurodiagnostic Technologist provides findings and results
  • Can perform EEG (routine and long-term/continuous) set up, electrode application, and maintain patient safety during clinically significant events and other related duties
  • Strong well-developed communication skills are essential for this position

What Qualifications You Will Need:

  • High School graduate/GED required
  • Completion of an accredited EEG training program preferred
  • BLS from the American Heart Association Required
  • 1 – 3 years EEG experience preferred
  • Computer experience preferred
  • Must have good communication skills
