Job Summary and Qualifications

As an EEG Technologist you would administer/perform routine, STAT and long-term monitoring for non-invasive diagnostic electroencephalograms. You would prepare and calibrate equipment required for testing to determine proper functioning and make any necessary adjustments,

• Explain and orient the patient to the EEG procedure.
• Apply electrodes and sensors and perform appropriate physiologic calibrations to ensure proper signals.
• You will communicate with responsible neurologist regarding all requested EEGs, informing neurologist when testing is complete, and assist neurologist with interpretation-related duties.
• Perform cerebral death studies on adult, neonatal and pediatric patients.
• You will participate in on-call duties to meet department needs.

Requirements

• Graduate of EEG program or three years’ experience.
• Minimum of one-year experience as EEG technologist.
• Basic Life Support Certification.
• Two years’ experience with pediatric and adult patients preferred.
• Registered EEG technologist preferred.

This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
