The Astria Health system, headquartered in the heart of the state of Washington’s wine country in the beautiful Yakima Valley, is the largest non-profit healthcare system based in Eastern Washington. • Experience: Experienced in rural health system preferred; deliberately obtained knowledge for system learning; successful history of managing up all personnel within health system; demonstrated system commitment and high integrity.Work requires 2-3 years of applied clinical experience in health care education or a minimum of 2 years as a Clinical Manager/Clinical Educator or Instructor. (Or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience skills). Demonstrated computer experience required. Experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• Education: BS (Clinical), MSN or MHA.
• Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Ability to prioritize and work independently; ability to remain calm and pleasant in stressful situations. Basic understanding of wage and hour laws preferred.
• Licenses/Registrations/Certifications: Certification from the American Heart Association as a Basic Life Support Course C Instructor (Current or willing to obtain).

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Work is performed in an office setting. Requires sitting for long periods of time and walking and/or standing is only occasionally required. Requires normal/corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Requires good manual and finger dexterity to operate computers, phones, and handle documents. Physical demand level is light with lifting/exerting up to 10 pounds of force in order to lift, carry, pull or move objects.
