Romantix, a national retail brand in the adult toy market, seeks an eCommerce Manager. While primarily focused on extending brand recognition and growing sales online, the manager will also be responsible for optimizing synergies between our retail and online stores.

The primary goal of this position is to identify opportunities for growth across all marketing channels and work with our internal team, vendors and partners to develop and execute targeted growth strategies. This requires communicating with people who span a broad range of eCommerce knowledge, working with a highly skilled technical teams and managing relationships across various time-zones.

Activities will involve forming new data driven strategies to increase major KPI's, working hand in hand with our account managers to better understand our capabilities; this position will be working with 3rd party providers.

The position requires a strong grasp of data analytics and expert knowledge of Google Analytics and Google's suite of products. This position also requires in-depth knowledge of various ecommerce marketing activities such as email segmentation, SEO, SEM, on-site merchandising and promotions. Finally you must have the ability to analyze marketing data, measure results and find areas of improvement.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage the organization’s e-commerce marketing strategy.
  • Work with our eCommerce partners to continuously improve the website’s user/shopping experience.
  • Manage various marketing team members to allocate tasks, track completion and measure impact.
  • Work to continually optimize conversion rate.
  • Oversee our online pricing strategy.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of different marketing channels and activities based on revenue.
  • Experiment with and introduce newer marketing channels and tools to connect with and expand our audience.
  • Refine promotions, merchandising, marketing and technology to deliver a superior customer experience.

Job Requirements:

Candidates will have a strong understanding of the following areas:

1. Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

Candidates will track the latest search engine algorithmic developments and guidelines to avoid penalty. They will follow competitors’ strategies and regularly track keywords.

2. Content Marketing and Copywriting

Candidates will define and manage our copywriting strategy, to optimize copy on the homepage, product pages (product headline, description, features, etc.), checkout section, lead magnets, call-to-action (CTA) buttons, and any section that directly impacts our conversion rate. Candidates will also define and manage our content marketing strategy to for the blog and other editorial assets.

3. Email Marketing

Candidates will have experience segmenting customers based on purchase history, behavior and other relevant data. Candidates will have experience with personalization and drip marketing campaigns to retain customers and promote upselling and cross-selling offers.

Candidates will continually evaluate deliverability, open rate, click-through rate (CTR), etc. In addition, candidates will have experience using email triggers to address abandoned carts, follow ups to purchase and other critical conversion and retention opportunities.

4. Conversion Rate Optimization

A central purpose of this position is to improve our conversion rate. Candidates will have a strong background in analyzing data to test, evaluate and refine efforts to increase conversion.

5. Digital Advertising

Candidates will have experience using PPC, social media, native, and remarketing ads to drive traffic profitably while reducing the overall cost of acquisition.

6. Social Media Marketing

In addition to managing our various social channels, candidates will track competitor activities, connect with influencers and explore marketing/co-branding initiatives.

7. Tracking and Analytics
Candidates will have experience using quantitative and qualitative analytics data to understand user behavior, test new initiatives and refine our various marketing efforts in a data-driven way.
