Would you like to use your knowledge and skills to make a huge impact on local children? We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are seeking an opportunity to positively impact school-age children through our Expanded Learning Opportunity (ELO) classes offered at our after school programs. As an Enrichment Program Leader, you will assist in projects and crafts that influence the child’s creativity and independence.
If hired, some duties may include:
- Ensure that all equipment and supplies are available and maintained throughout the program.
- Keep accurate records of class attendance and participant’s progress throughout each session.
- Communicate with parents and supervisor regarding participant’s performance.
Qualifications:
- Minimum age of 16 or older.
- Six months or more of related experience preferred.
- Positive attitude and previous experience with children and diverse populations.
- Knowledge and skills in the area of agreed upon instruction and related equipment set-up, as well as the ability to instruct participants in age appropriate techniques.
- Able and willing to complete online Child Abuse Prevention training on first day, and other online and in-person training as required.
Starting Wage: $17.00+ per hour, depending on qualifications
Hours: Part-Time, Monday-Thursday, 3:30-5:30pm
