Job description

Join us as our Conversion Specialist and help support the Road Runner Sports eCommerce team! You will get to leverage your experience analyzing data from multiple sources, while using a range of analytics methods, to identify insights with the biggest implications to customer journey. You will craft a story of the data in a way that inspires action. The Conversion Specialist will be responsible for understanding customer sentiments and feedback across multiple touch points, moments of truth, and journeys. This person will both individually and, in partnership with the various teams, surface pain points and emerging trends for root cause analysis. They will also conduct analysis on the direct customer feedback to identify trends and assign value to the insights for prioritization and action.

What you'll get to do:

  • Own key experience metrics and be intimately familiar with the customer experience - what works, what doesn’t, and what we need to prioritize.
  • Monitor and analyze customer trends, and performance drivers to support weekly and monthly reporting.
  • Be an expert in the customer insights platform, our reviews platform and serve as the 'go-to' for questions on data/insights.
  • Provide voice of the customer insights and feedback to internal business partners and establish a clear understanding of how to use this data in order to improve the customer experience.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to communicate data in order to empower different teams across the business to act on the data.
  • Conducts performance tests, such as A/B testing, bottleneck analysis, and usability testing.
  • Monitors key metrics and maintaining conversion rates for the business.
  • Satisfy ad-hoc data requests/analyses accurately and timely for reporting/analysis.
  • Monitors quality as needed, ensuring our landing pages and customer experiences are consistent.
  • Analyzes site behaviors, recommending adjustments or identifying new opportunities
  • Drives collaboration between cross-functional entities: Merchandising, Analyst, Retail & Brand Marketing
  • Constant focus on reducing friction in the shopping & checkout, payment, fulfillment, retention, frequency and customer service areas.
  • Own the online Chat feature in tandem with the VSC
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Must reside in one of the following states during the time of potential employment; California, Washington, Oregon, Arizona, Colorado, Illinois, Ohio, Virginia, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Georgia
  • A highly organized, mature problem-solver with sharp business acumen and in-depth knowledge of eCommerce concepts
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of web functionality, web analytics, and consumer behavior to find opportunities and actionable insights
  • Self-starter and strategic thinker with demonstrated ability to implement strategies based on competitive dynamics, economic goals, and customer needs
  • Experience with A / B testing
  • Experience with Analytics Tools such as Google Analytics
  • Working knowledge of eCommerce Platforms
  • Experience working with technical and creative teams to accomplish goals
  • Proven track record of devising and executing sales-enhancing strategies
  • Attention to details and accuracy in reporting
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • 3-5 years’ experience with a
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related discipline preferred
  • Experience with customer insights platforms (Quantum Metrics, Power Reviews)
  • This role requires collaboration and meetings in-person and over virtual meeting platforms
  • Some travel by car &/or airplane will be required
  • Lifting 20 -30 lbs may be required
  • Work environment will be partially virtually and partially in-person at the RRS Support Offices
  • The Loyalty & Retention Marketing Manager will need to hold loyalty and special events at RRS stores throughout the United States
