We at Libertae are helping more women (and their children) that are in recovery and we need YOUR help.

We are looking for a Full-Time Drug and Alcohol Counselor to join our highly successful, dynamic, and growing team.

The successful candidate will be working 8 hours every day for a 40 hour week. This will be flexible between days, nights, and/or weekends. The earliest start time will be 8am and the end time of work will be 8pm at the latest.

You will be working in either the Family House or Halfway House for women working toward recovery from substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders. You will provide individualized behavioral health counseling and therapeutic supports in a manner that reflects Libertae's mission to be gender-responsive and trauma-informed.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive bio-psychosocial assessments
• Develop individualized treatment plans
• Conduct individual, group, and family counseling
• Complete paperwork requirements in a timely manner, maintain quality, up-to-date clinical records which include the use of an electronic record system EHR/EMR
• Participate in staff development and training, attend team and agency meetings

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in a related field with a minimum of 1 year of clinical experience
• Experience with trauma-informed services; cognitive-behavioral and motivational therapies preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Working knowledge of addiction and 12-step programs
• Competence in therapeutic modalities as well as leading didactic and process-oriented groups
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Computer skills; Microsoft products and electronic records (EMR/EHR)
• Ability to secure Act 33 and 34 clearances
