The Helper assists drivers, accurately transfers product, both physically and logically, into and/or out of the warehouses, loads and unloads trucks, and moves product throughout the facility manually, while providing excellent customer service.
About the position:
- Consistent pay: $15.00 per hour
- Schedule: Thursday - Sunday 7:30am- 4:00pm
- Requirements:
- Able to Lift up to 50 lbs repeatively
- Operate Pallet Jack
- Other requirements: Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
Essential Functions
- Read, interpret, and apply Bills of Lading and assembly instructions
- Recognize and correct potential process errors before actions adversely affect the customer
- Recognize damaged product at any point in the warehousing process and take appropriate action when discovered
- Stage orders according to location and verify: number of pallets picked as well as stage location
- Prepare receiving, storage and shipping documentation retaining product accountability throughout the logistical process
- Be aware of and follow location and work center Safety and Security policies and procedures
- Performs housekeeping duties and other duties as assigned
- May operate stair-climbing equipment, pallet jack, or lift gate
- Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
- Light assembly of technical equipment

Skills and Abilities
- basic installation skills
- Ability to read, do basic mathematics, understand and respond to written and verbal instructions for the purposes of safety, work instructions, policies, etc
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and walk in high traffic areas
- Work overtime as assigned
Qualifications
- S. diploma/GED preferred or equivalent
- One (1) year or more inside delivery required

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent perferred
- One (1) year or more of experience with inside delivery
- Basic installation skills
- Ability to:
- Read, do basic mathematics, understand and respond to written and verbal instructions for the purposes of safety, work instructions, policies, etc.
- Lift up to fifty (50) pounds unassisted and walk in high traffic areas
- Work overtime as assigned
- Safety Sensitive Position
