Job description
Meals on wheels deliver meals Monday to Friday to elderly people in the following areas, Carlisle, Brampton, Longtown and Wigton. We need someone who is comfortable with finding new places and using satnav, Google maps etc to assist with delivering the meals. Our hours are 10.45am to around 1.30pm. Fuel expenses are paid at 45p per mile.
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 10-15 per week
Salary: £11.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
COVID-19 considerations:
Drivers will be requested to wear a mask when delivering to vulnerable people.
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Carlisle., CA2 7HL: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Delivery driver experience: 1 year (preferred)
- Driving: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (required)
