Introductory Statement:

The Delivery Driver aids the EJ Reynolds Company Shipping and Receiving Department in meeting customer requested scheduled deliveries by providing courteous, efficient, and professional delivery and pick-up service in a safe and timely manner. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to); deliveries, material pick up, loading/unloading, running errands and, delivery bay cleanliness & organization.

Qualifications and Skills Required

· Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)

· 2+ years in shipping and receiving or related experience

· The ability to drive a flat-bed truck 48ft or longer

· The ability to operate a lift truck to move palletized loads up to 10,000 pounds

· The ability to lift heavy objects up to 30 pounds

· The ability to perform activities related to processing, receiving, recording, and/or shipping raw materials/finished goods

· A high level of dependability, a great attitude, and an ability to work well with a team towards achieving a common goal

· Safe and lawful operation of company vehicles at all times

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
