Velis Associates, Inc is a leading elevator cab manufacturer with over 25 Years of experience working with various elevator companies located within the Tri-State area. As a Draftsman at Velis Associates, you will work our project management team to design various elevator cab interiors, entrances and architectural products.
Draftsman/AutoCad Operator must be able to prepare complete and accurate detail drawings for approval and fabrication documents from project layouts, architectural plans, detail drawings , field survey or notes. When required, will revise Shop drawings based on Architect/GC comments as presented by PM. The right candidate will have the core skills, but can easily transition from other similar specialty trades such as millwork, metal or glass. There will be opportunities to learn and the drafter should seize any opportunity to learn new methods or technologies.
Qualifications:
Salary $22.00 plus based on experience.

Qualifications:
- Proficient in the use of AutoCad.
- Ability to read Blueprints.
- Knowledge of construction and fabrication methods a plus.
- Intermediate math skills.
- Clear written and verbal skills.
- Ability to work in a group.
- Ability to independently manage time.
