About us

Loving Care Pet Sitting provides excellent in-home pet care for dogs, cats and cage animals in and around Wyomissing, PA. We offer overnight house sitting as well as day/night visits.

This is not an employee job with regular hourly pay. We use the services of Independent Contractors to help our pet owner client's needs.

Requirements:

• Applicants must live in or adjacent to our service areas of: Wyomissing, Sinking Spring, Shillington, Exeter, Leesport, Muhlenberg.
• Must have valid driver's license & reliable transportation.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Be physically fit with the ability to care for different animals of different sizes and breeds. As well as able to work and commute in all types of weather (this is a very active position that requires hours of energy, even on rainy, snowy or humid and hot days.)
• Must have a smart phone with access to internet with photo/video capabilities for use of company scheduling and communication software. Reliable communication is a must between staff with regular check-in's.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet with pet owners to discuss pet sitting duties.
• Excellent organization skills, reliable and trustworthy.
• Willing to work holidays. (Preferred)
• Must be able to make at least a 6 month commitment to the position.
• Must be able to pass a national criminal background check.

Responsibilities:

• Pet Sitting: Visit our clients' homes 1-4 times per day (morning, mid day, dinner and evening) to walk, feed and care for their pet/s while they travel.
• Overnight/House Sitting: Spend the night in our client's homes; overnight shift is 7PM through 7AM the following morning.
• Dog Walking: Visit our client's homes 1-2 visits per day between the hours of 11 AM & 3 PM, Monday through Friday, to walk dogs while their owners are at work.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
