Minimum Requirements:

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and three years of professional experience in systems analysis, management analysis, program planning, program research, program evaluation, engineering or administrative work or vocational rehabilitation. A master’s degree from an accredited college or university can substitute for one year of the required experience. Professional or nonprofessional experience as described above can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education.

Job Description:

This position reports to the Senior Management Analyst Supervisor in the Contract Administrative Management Section of the DVR Bureau of Vendor and Contracted Services. The incumbent in this position must be productive under tight timeframes, balance multiple and competing priorities and maintain goal-directed behavior and performance sometimes under stressful conditions. The employee must interact courteously with others. The employee’s performance and behavior must demonstrate consideration of the workload concerns of others and must not negatively affect productivity and morale of the unit. Attendance is an essential function of this position.


This is a highly responsible professional position requiring the incumbent to manage, monitor, and train providers delivering direct services to VR Customers. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:


  • Serving as the senior staff member in the unit, including, assisting with training/onboarding new employees, coordinating/reviewing team work products, and acting for the Unit Manager in their absence;
  • Maintaining Unit processes, forms, presentation templates, and other tools, ensuring they are updated at all times;
  • Assisting in the development of new policies, procedures, and training presentations related to employment services provision;
  • Assisting with the development of contracts and grants;
  • Assisting with development of Annual risk assessment and annual monitoring plan for direct service providers;
  • Provider monitoring and special project coordination;
  • Participate in initiatives to design, develop, implement, evaluate and improve service provider oversight;
  • Review and coordinate approval of provider submitted curriculum;
  • Provider management responsibilities for specialty, high risk, and probationary providers, such as:
    • Enforcing provider performance of applicable terms and conditions;
    • Evaluating provider performance;
    • Maintaining complete, comprehensive, current, and well organized records;
    • Development and enforcement of corrective action plans, as deemed necessary; and
    • Informing management of issues with service delivery.

Incumbent in position will travel locally and statewide as required. Other duties as assigned.

BACKGROUND SCREENING REQUIREMENT
