DNA Collection Pop Up Clinics - 2 DAYS PER MONTH (LINCOLN PARISH)
Job description
We’re hiring MEDICAL ASSISTANTS or other professionals in the medical field to provide monthly DNA cheek swab testing to our clients at the Lincoln Parish Health Unit & Lincoln Parish Courthouse for their pending child support cases. PLEASE NOTE - This is 2 SHIFTS PER MONTH
Having COVID testing experience/nasal swab is a plus. Applicants should have great customer service skills and work well in a team environment, yet be able to work independently. Must be reliable, professional and have a great attitude.
- LOCATION: Lincoln Parish Health Unit & Lincoln Parish Courthouse
- RECURRING SCHEDULE: 1st and 3rd Monday from 9:00am-1:00pm at the Health Unit & 1 Wednesday per month 9:00am-1:00pm at the Lincoln Parish Courthouse
All staff will receive complete online training/ over the phone follow up training. All supplies including gloves, alcohol wipes, testing kits, camera, film, ink pad will also be provided.
Responsibilities:
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Perform cheek swab specimen collections
- Fill out handwritten Chain of Custody form
- Ensure specimens are properly and accurately labeled for processing at the lab.
- Delivery samples to FedEx (prepaid labels provided)
