Overview:
The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) Specialist will play an important role in supporting our diversity and inclusion strategy through providing day-to-day project/program management and support for the talent management and diversity and inclusion team. This role will assist in the design, development and delivery of diversity and inclusion programs and initiatives that increase awareness and understanding of DE&I and employee engagement. The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Specialist will manage projects from concept through final implementation.
Responsibilities:
This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company.
  • Provides strategy and project related timeline and regular status updates to all stakeholders.
  • Provides program administration activities for DE&I programs to all V2X team members.
Employee Resource Group Management:
  • Provides support and direct management of our employee resource groups.
  • Works cross functionally with Marketing, Internal Communications, Philanthropy, and other groups to support our ERGs and DE&I initiatives and programs.
  • Helps review and manage budgets for ERGs.
  • Additionally, achieves program objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic diversity, equity, and inclusion plans.
  • Coordinates implementation, communication and change management plans as necessary.
  • Keep current on ERG and DE&I best practices, updates, and trends to integrate as appropriate.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders for best-in-class surveys
Training and Development:
  • Introduces participants to training content, fosters discussion, and takes steps to ensure learning transfer.
  • Develops diversity, equity, and inclusion learning opportunities using available resources and tools to support learning.
  • Develops metrics to assess the success of training and DE&I programs.
Project Management:
  • Manages key projects that support strategic objectives of the diversity, equity, and inclusion team.
  • Defines deliverables, scope, and success metrics for each project.
  • Establishes project plans including resource requirements, tasks, and assignments.
  • Establishes regular communication and status update intervals for stakeholders.
  • Identifies risks and creates mitigation plans.
  • Coordinates implementation, communication, and change management plans as necessary.
  • Conducts after action reviews and recommends improvements.
  • Helps develop communications and marketing material to support and promote ERGs and DE&I programming.
  • Assists in the development of content for internal and external DE&I sites.
  • Collaborates with Internal Communications and Marketing on company-wide DE&I campaigns.
Qualifications:
Education: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Diversity and Inclusion, Organizational Effectiveness & Development, Learning & Development, Project Management, or another related field.
Certifications/Licenses:
  • Project Management training or certification preferred.
Experience:
  • At least one year experience managing projects or delivering training in a corporate environment.

Nationwide Salary Range: The salary range provided is intended to display the value of the company’s base pay compensation for all statewide locations across the United States. Salaries paid are subject to the conditions of the job including, but not limited to, the physical worksite location.
  • $60,000 - 90,000
