Job description

With general direction from the Operations Supervisor, Assistant Operations Manager, or Terminal Manager and Vice President of Operations, interacts with school district personnel and staff and all student conduct/situations in the resolution of scheduling, transportation needs and issues.

Specific duties:

· Will maintain close relations with the District and the public to ensure timely and efficient communication.

· Oversee student management and training.

  • Contact parents and serve as a liaison between driver and parent for student behavior or concerns.
  • Conduct meetings as needed between students, district administration and terminal management.

· Document, investigate, and take corrective measures regarding student behaviors in 1-3 days.

· Supervise arrival and departure procedures at schools.

· Support satellite locations needs.

· Help conduct safety meetings and in-services trainings related to pupils.

· Inspire a team atmosphere and ensure positive employee pupil interaction.

· Investigating and respond to customer service complaints and employee concerns.

Minimum Qualifications:

Skills: Strong PC skills written and verbal communication skills, and exceptional customer service skills are essential to external and internal customers. Ability to deal with problems and find solutions.

  • High School Diploma required, with training/education in above-mentioned areas
  • Must be detail oriented and have the ability to document, research and solve discrepancies and processes
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Software including Excel and Word
  • Positive attitude, ethical, dependable, responsible with a professional appearance and mannerisms.
  • Applicants must possess the skills necessary to express oneself orally in a logical comprehensive and intelligent manner.
  • Must show strong organizational and leadership skills. Scheduling and setting priorities for work to be accomplished.
