Distribution Associate
Job description
- Picks orders accurately and to a set production standard, as assigned by supervisor
- Properly log, process, and stock inbound merchandise shipments
- Palletizes and labels overstock so that it may be handled properly
- Checks shipments for accuracy and reports the results to the supervisor
- Ensures that all the parts are located
- Tags all orders to ensure that the order goes to the proper location in shipping
- Ensures that all daily housekeeping duties are completed at end of every day
- Cycle counts bin locations as assigned by supervisor
- Restocks consumables and prepares for the next business day
- other duties as assigned
Distribution Center Associate Qualifications:
- HS Diploma/ GED required
- 0 to 2 years previous work experience is preferred but not required at this level.
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to use computer equipment and simple math ability
- Ability to use hand held bar code scanning equipment in a paperless warehouse
- Ability to stand and walk up to 3 hours at a time
- Ability to lift 20lbs regularly and up to 50lbs on occasion
- Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, or crawl.
