Looking for a Director of Software Development to help lead our local team, on a global platform. Looking for someone who is still close to technology and isn't afraid to get involved with their teams.
Your role will entail forging strong working relationships with Front/Mid/Back-office stakeholders as well as technology teams across the world.

You will have:
- Software engineering background in Java with applied exposure to cloud native technologies, preferably AWS
- proven technical architecture and solution design skills
- a bias towards strategic thinking and transformational change delivery
- delivery orientation, quickly and incrementally moving our architecture towards the desired target state
- the ability to quickly grasp complex business problems and design holistic and robust solutions
- exceptional ability to influence, create alignment and effect change with senior stakeholders across both technology and the business
- refined experience of managing technical teams in both the on-site and remote environments.
- Commodities product knowledge, especially energy products
- software delivery management in a Front Office environment
- exposure to data architecture, data platforms and data analytics tools.
