Position Summary

We are in search of a Director of Sales Enablement, RFPs to support the efficiency, effectiveness and productivity of our inside, field sales teams and customer success teams This senior team member will develop and implement a sales enablement strategy to onboard new sales hires quickly and effectively, deliver internal sales and product training, develop and update sales tools, optimize training frameworks and playbooks, and serve as the key liaison between sales and the marketing and product teams.


Responsibilities

  • Ensure proper “sales hygiene” so that everyone is operating out of the same playbook in terms of product messaging, sales process/strategy and CRM data to support opportunity tracking and forecasting.
  • Partner with sales leadership to create and execute an enablement strategy that drives measurable sales performance.
  • Act as a leader and coach of sales enablement initiatives within cross-functional teams.
  • Advise on strategic initiatives to include messaging, account strategy, go-to-market plans, product development, and territory business planning.
  • Establish and implement best-in-class communications and sales tools in partnership with the product and marketing teams..
  • Define a comprehensive onboarding and certification process for new sales reps and determine success metrics to demonstrate competencies.
  • Develop a multi-faceted and continuous sales training and development program to include sales skills, customer onboarding, systems use, product changes, and new products.
  • Lead and assess sales onboarding program effectiveness, including sales skills, product knowledge, and effective systems to decrease ramp time.
  • Communicate the success of programs to the leadership team through both qualitative and quantitative data.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of relevant sales enablement and customer-facing roles preferably in B2B, business services, information technology, intellectual property, education technology and related industries.
  • 3+ years of experience in account management, project management, and/or sales role with a proven track record of territory management, consultative sales, and exceptional client relations.
  • Ability to execute high-quality demonstrations and presentations (virtual and in-person).
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated success working in a team environment, and past management experience providing leadership, development, and coaching to a high-performing team.
  • Possesses expertise in educational and industry trends to increase employees’ understanding and application within the field of EdTech.
  • Strong knowledge of sales training methodologies and key sales enablement technologies and tools.
  • Experience in the K-12 supplemental and curriculum products space desirable.
