MedStar Health has an opportunity for a registered nurse to step into a leadership role as the Director of Nursing in the Emergency Dept at MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital.

As the Director, the incumbent will join the largest healthcare provider in Maryland and the Washington, DC region. Collaborating closely with the Physicians and working closely with the VPN, you’ll join a unique and supportive culture to Plan, organize, and direct department operations. The team provides high-quality patient care services in a cost-effective manner consistent with the mission, goals, and objectives of the organization. You’ll provide leadership to the entire department, direct nurse managers and/or other management staff within Emergency Department and Short Stay/Observation Unit and assumes 24-hour accountability for the clinical practice.

To be successful in this position, you will have:
·Master's degree in nursing or related field. Bachelor's degree of Science in Nursing.
·3-4 years in nursing and management experience

Pay: $65,891.30 - $130,904.98 per year
