Job Description and Duties
The Director of Community Marketing will be a key leadership role within the Sentral Marketing team. You will drive strategy and execution to effectively market Sentral's network of urban residential communities with the objective of driving qualified leads, achieving revenue goals and supporting customer experience.
What You'll Do

  • Lead marketing strategy, implementation and oversight of marketing activities across all Sentral branded and independent communities Currently 40 throughout the U.S.
  • Communicate and support on-property marketing plans, provides guidance on best marketing practices and also provides budget recommendations specific to each community
  • Monitor the overall effectiveness of community marketing and provide guidance to the on-property team to ensure they are delivering and executing marketing plans that meet the business targets while ensuring the appropriate "pull through" of corporate marketing and digital strategies, programs, processes, and initiatives for the benefit of the property
  • Responsible for expediting resources, templates, tools and general guidance for the marketing implementation for the Sentral communities
  • Manage and provide direction, guidance and leadership for the community marketing department team members
  • Serves point on Owner and Market escalations and challenges related to marketing
  • Contributes to marketing strategies that will allow Sentral to deliver on their value proposition to drive incremental, profitable revenue to individual properties through activating area and national strategies at the community level and leveraging cutting edge marketing technologies and trends
  • Assists communities in achieving leasing as well as long- and short-term booking pace goals
  • Leverages analytics and monitor dashboards in order to optimize ROI across channels
  • Analyzes, reports, and tracks global site performance and e-marketing activities
  • Reviews ad hoc SWOT requests, as well as proactively identify key needs and opportunities
  • Verify pull through of new marketing & digital programs/products/services to verify successful, integrated and brand appropriate local implementation
  • Partner with the PR discipline to leverage major events for the enhancement of the hotel, brand, and portfolio image
  • Provide guidance to on-property Directors of and/or General Managers on marketing initiatives
  • Provide marketing expertise to support key communities, pipeline communities and new acquisitions
  • Create guidelines for budget recommendations based on community type and business needs
  • Serve as brand champion with expert knowledge on the brands' positioning, business plans and strategic imperatives
  • Work closely with corporate leadership in brand, marketing and digital departments to understand Sentral's critical strategies
