About ActivateCare:

At Activate Care, we’re on a mission to improve health equity and drive improved health outcomes across the country. Our Community Care Record platform enables healthcare and community organizations to coordinate care for populations challenged with health-related social needs. Path Assist is our tech-enabled community health worker program for HRSN utilizing an evidence-based, structured intervention. Our goal is simple: increase health confidence, improve self-efficacy, and reduce inappropriate healthcare spend.


About the Role:

The Director of Marketing will implement positive marketing initiatives for our growing company. This position requires strong collaboration, creativity and organization. The Director of Marketing will encourage and motivate a team of marketers to success. The person placed in this position will need to be a strong delegator and track multiple ongoing projects simultaneously.This role requires a significant knowledge base in the MCO/Medicaid payer space, including a fundamental understanding of payment models.

Applicants considered must have extensive experience in healthcare sales, marketing and thrive in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead development and implementation of marketing, advertising, and sales initiatives
  • Educate, guide and develop marketing team with brand identity
  • Lead product development, advertising campaigns and pricing strategies
  • Create innovative ways to connect with target audiences
  • Oversee social media marketing platforms
  • Direct and gather market analytical data and consumer test strategies
  • Increase overall brand awareness
  • Direct and oversee all design and advertising ventures
  • Attend conferences, meetings, conventions, in order to stay current on market trends and research
  • Create and adhere to marketing budgets
  • Develop marketing team, train and conduct performance reviews
  • Present frequent progress reports and communicate updates to executives
  • Other miscellaneous duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business administration or related field. Masters degree preferred, but not required.
  • 6+ years extensive experience in healthcare sales, marketing, advertising and brand management
  • 3+ years of experience working with MCO/Medicaid payers
  • Proficient using Google Suite and various marketing softwares (Dynamics, HubSpot)
  • Professional Certified Marketer (PCM) certification a plus
  • Proven dynamic leadership and project management skills
  • Strategic, innovative and creative personality with a strong business acumen
  • A passion for working in and managing a fast-paced, start up environment
  • Adept multi-tasker with ability to quickly prioritize and effectively delegate tasks
