About your role:

The Human Resources Director will be responsible for managing all aspects of the human resources function for the company. This includes the development and implementation of HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with the company's goals and objectives. The HR Director will also be responsible for the day-to-day administration of all HR activities, including recruitment and retention, compensation and benefits, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and compliance with all employment laws and regulations.

Essential Duties and Major Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring that they are set up for success and properly integrated into the company culture.
  • Manage the talent acquisition, recruitment, and retention of employees, including developing and implementing effective recruitment and retention strategies.
  • Oversee compensation and benefits programs, ensuring that they are competitive and align with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Direct the company’s safety and OSHA department, including overseeing workers’ compensation and claims management.
  • Manage employee relations, including addressing employee concerns, conflict resolution, and maintaining positive employee relations.
  • Manage the performance management process, including developing and implementing effective performance management strategies and tools.
  • Oversee the training and development of employees, ensuring that employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations.
  • Manage the HR budget and provide regular reports on HR metrics to senior management and Executives.
  • Provide HR support and guidance to senior management and department managers.
  • Train and support the HR team, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the HR team.
  • Stay up to date with developments in HR best practices and employment laws and regulations.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

Type of Experience Needed to be Successful:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in HR, with at least 5 years of experience in a senior HR leadership role.
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now preferred.
