Job Summary:
This leadership position assists the successful operation of several dining establishments at a senior living community. The Director of Dining Services will assist in the responsibility for all foodservice-related activities; including quality improvement and residents satisfaction. This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic entrepreneurial manager who is constantly seeking a better way to conduct business.

Key Responsibilities:
The Director of Dining Services is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of several dining venues at senior a living community. You will manage and lead a team of associates in the FOH and BOH. You will be responsible for managing client relations, along with ensuring that food and service to our client, residents and guests are of superior quality. Additionally, you will be responsible for the following:

• Maintain excellent relationships with residents, guests and client as well as other departments
• Work with the Chef and management team in creating menus and providing top quality food
• Carry out day-to-day management of the dining room
• Oversees the P&L and manages the budgets (labor and food costs)

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3 to 5 years of direct foodservice operational management experience with inventory and purchasing knowledge and control
• Strong knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
• Strong supervisory, leadership, management and coaching skills
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Excellent financial, budgetary, accounting and computational skills
• High volume production and catering experience is essential
• Proficient computer skills required to be successful
• Desire to learn and grow with a top notch foodservice company
• ServSafe® Certified
