The Director of Contract Administration assists with drafting of end user agreements and reviews redlines from other team members. Additionally, the Director of Contract Administration works with the executive team negotiating agreements with vendors and business partners, as well as prospects and customers. The contracts team also has oversight of the Order Desk and is responsible for management of those team members to ensure timely, accurate processing of orders in accordance with our customer contracts.

What You’ll be Doing

  • Understand and effectively communicate business process to vendors, business partners, prospects and customers
  • Negotiate prospect, customer, vendor and business partner contracts, includes running redlines independently
  • Participate in corporate response to Request for Proposal as directed by the Sales Enablement Team
  • Consider GAAP criteria for revenue recognition in making business decisions
  • Communicate with Roper legal as needed for negotiations or to complete corporate initiatives
  • Build, or participate in, project based interdepartmental teams to accomplish corporate initiatives
  • Ensure accountability and follow through of detailed obligations, tasks and special projects
  • Manage daily activities, or mentor, Contract Administration or Order Desk team members, as appropriate
  • Responsible for training of Contract Administration or Order Desk team members, as appropriate
  • Promote and maintain a high quality, professional, service-oriented team culture

What You’ll Bring to the Table

  • 5+ years experience in business law and/or sales operations
  • Experience negotiating contracts preferred
  • Experience with IP law preferred
  • Law degree preferred but not required
  • Ability to analyze legal issues and technical details, digest and communicate ideas and concepts well, both orally and in writing
  • Problem solving
  • Strong leadership
  • Effective prioritization of tasks
  • Flexible with priorities and handling interruptions
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail, even with the most routine tasks
  • Sound administrative/procedural judgement

Who You’ll Work With

  • Sales Account Representatives, Contract Administration and Order Desk team members, Security and Privacy Officers, Intermediate and C-level internal management across the organization; Intermediate and C-level external customer management

Target Compensation: $80,000 - $90,000 Annually

Compensation

Actual salary will depend on multiple factors, including; geographic location, education, experience, and skills. Therefore, the pay range is subject to the Company's discretion and can change without notice.
